Municipality of Languyan, Tawi-Tawi Benchmarking Visit to Kauswagan

A delegation from the municipality of Languyan in Tawi-Tawi recently conducted a benchmarking trip to the municipality of Kauswagan, Lanao del Norte. Led by Vice Mayor Abubakar S. Matba together with the members of the Sangguniang Bayan, barangay captains, and their department heads, the Languyan contingent spent three days learning about Kauswagan’s best practices.

The team toured Kauswagan’s organic farms as well as International Organic Convention Center, Fisherman’s Wharf, Longest Boardwalk and Amusement Park.

Through meetings and site visits organized by Municipal Agriculturist Adelino Rico, the Languyan representatives gained insights into Kauswagan’s award-winning approaches to organic agriculture and community-driven development, maintaining peace and order within the municipality.
