CREATIVE CITIES AND MUNICIPALITIES CONGRESS (CMCC) 2024

The Creative Cities and Municipalities Congress yesterday, August 23, 2024, at The Manila Hotel conducted by the Department of Trade and Industry – Bureau of Competitive Development declared Kauswagan, Lanao del Norte as the 1st placer in the Overall Most Competitive Municipalities in the 5th-6th Class Category in the entire Philippines.
The Congress was established mainly to identify the nation’s most competitive cities, towns, and provinces as well as to encourage the expansion of the creative industries. It is one of the major events of the 2024 Philippine Creative Industries Month (PCIM) celebration.
The event highlighted the results of the 2024 CMCI cycle wherein over 100 deserving LGUs, represented by Governors and Mayors were recognized and awarded according to the competitiveness category during the CMCI Awarding Ceremony.
Rankings of Cities and Municipalities are based on the sum of their scores on 5 Pillars: Economic Dynamism, Government Efficiency, Infrastructure, Resiliency, and Innovation.
