LOOK: The Municipality of Kauswagan, Lanao del Norte attended and supported the hosting of the Province of Lanao del Norte’s launch of Mount Inayawan Range Natural Park’s declaration as one of the ASEAN Heritage Parks at the Municipality of Nunungan spearheaded by Governor Imelda “Angging” Quibranza-Dimaporo .
The declaration was announced by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources on October 31, 2022 through the ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on the Environment.
The launch was also attended by 2nd District Congresswoman Sittie Aminah Q. Dimaporo, former Congressman Abdullah ‘Bobby’ D. Dimaporo, Senator Bong Go and Philip Salvador.
During the program, the Provincial government of Lanao del Norte also awarded plaques of recognition to Mayor Rommel Arnado and the International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements (IFOAM) Asia for successfully hosting the 6th Organic Asia Congress on June
4-10, 2023.
